It was an extremely busy few days at the start of November for the Flat-Out Media team, who were tasked with producing various video content and managing social media accounts for a number of clients at the popular SEMA car show in Las Vegas.
Working predominantly with Sam Hard from the Hard Up Garage YouTube channel, half of our team flew over to capture and edit video from all four days of this mammoth show, whilst the other half were back in the UK uploading and distributing the content with an intense social media strategy, to help optimise YouTube views.
The first Hard Up Garage YouTube video released after the first day of the event was a roaring success, amassing over 250,000 views within the first 24 hours of it being live. After seven days, Hard Up Garage’s four main videos, as well as the countless Reels/TikTok videos we launched for the client, had generated over 1.4 million views – mission accomplished!
During this week, we also filmed and edited show report-style video content for Ben ‘The Stig’ Collins, with his first video gaining over 125,000 views within the first four days. Ben is also in the process of launching another of our full-length videos from the show in the coming days.
We also captured some Reels/TikTok videos, as well as a full-length YouTube video, for long-standing client, EBC Brakes, who had a large presence at the event to celebrate their 40th anniversary. As always, this client’s social media channels were also managed by ourselves during these busy few days.
We had a great time at SEMA and are already putting plans in place for 2024’s instalment with various clients. Watch this space…!
